Patricia Stewart

Patricia Stewart is a physicist, and has worked for NASA most of her career. She has also worked for a major aerospace company and taught freshman astrometry at a university in southern Florida. She prefers to write “hard” science fiction, but is not adverse to adding an occasional bit of levity into her stories. Like Gene Rodenberry, Patricia has an optimistic view of the future, and prefers to write positive, upbeat fiction. More often than not, there will be a surprise ending to her stories (at least she planed it to be a surprise, but some savvy readers see it coming).

Her favorite movies and TV shows are science fiction as well, with Star Trek: The Next Generation, leading the pack (as well as inspiring the selection of her pseudonym). Her husband says that Patricia has a tough time separating TV scifi from reality. Patricia thinks that’s fascinating, but illogical.
